After a very competitive and enthusiastic selection process, Yodiwo and Engie Hellas are awarded 2nd place as finalists at the ENGIE Innovation Trophies 2019 Ceremony, an annual event that has been honoring the innovations of employees all over the world, underlining enthusiasm for inventing solutions that help to transform the energy and services industries.
The selection of the 2019 ENGIE Innovation Trophies took place over several months to analyze the 520 project submissions from 48 countries and to nominate the winners of the competition rewarded at the ENGIE Innovation Trophies ceremony.
The joint Yodiwo – ENGIE Hellas innovation proposal was titled: “ENGIE Connect: The IoT Edge Solution for TFM & Energy Services”.
ENGIE Connect, powered by Yodiwo FM platform, provides integration of services under a single FM platform, unifying all kinds of heterogenous controllers and sensors. It is an “edge computing platform”, able to localize the data processing at the hardware level, minimizing communications’ costs and allowing the implementation of AI and machine learning algorithms.
