Performance Feedback

Directors, officers, and any other person in the company with direct reports are required to follow standard procedures, such as the performance appraisal process, when providing feedback on employee performance. Any informal comments or evaluations outside of these processes can undermine the formal review system and may lead to misunderstandings or unfair treatment. Regardless of the age, the gender, the status or any other characteristic of an employee, managers must communicate with respect and professionalism. Using disrespectful or diminutive terms (e.g., “little girl/boy”) is strictly prohibited. Reporting Violations

Discrimination, harassment and bullying will not be tolerated in the workplace environment. Employees are encouraged to report any violations of this policy or any unethical behavior

Non-Retaliation Policy

The company prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports a violation in good faith.
Employees who retaliate against others for reporting will face disciplinary action

Disciplinary Actions

Management Responsibility: All managers and supervisors are responsible for implementing this policy within their teams. They must lead by example, enforce the policy’s standards, and address any violations promptly. Managers are also responsible for fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment, ensuring that their teams understand and adhere to the policy. Employee Responsibility: Every employee, contractor, and representative of the company is responsible for understanding and complying with the Business Ethics Policy. Employees are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, respect, and fairness in all business dealings and interactions. They must report any unethical behavior or violations of the policy.

Human Resources Responsibility: The HR department is responsible for providing training on the Business Ethics Policy, supporting employees in understanding their ethical obligations, and ensuring that the policy is applied consistently across the organization. HR is also responsible for handling reports of policy violations and ensuring that appropriate disciplinary actions are taken.This shared accountability and responsibility ensure that the Business Ethics Policy is not only a document but a living practice that guides the company’s culture and operations

Security Policy

Yodiwo develops and maintains state-of-the-art IoT solutions, on top of an in-house multi-awarded horizontal IoT Platform. For our company, information and information systems protection is our main objective.

Our company’s management is committed to supporting any action which aims to enhance corporate Information Security. For this reason, the company takes the proper technical and organizational measures to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the data IT process.

Yodiwo has developed an Information Security Management System aiming to:

  • Ensure the integrity, availability and confidentiality of its IT systems.
  • Promptly and effectively handle any information security incidents that threaten its normal operation.
  • Continuously improve the level of Information Security.
  • Comply to all legal and regulatory requirements.

In order to support the aforementioned objectives, our company has developed:

  • Organizational roles required for monitoring the level of Information Security.
  • An information classification scheme. All information is classified, based on its importance and criticality, according to a corporate information classification method.
  • Technical measures for protecting, controlling and restricting access to information and information systems.
  • Information Security incidents reporting and handling methods, to quickly and effectively handle security incidents.
  • Training methods to keep all our employees and partners informed about the latest security threats.
  • Key Point Indicators to measure and monitor critical factors which designate the corporate security level.
  • Methods for ensuring the continuous operation of business processes in cases of information systems failures or physical disasters.

Policy Statement

It is Yodiwo’s moral and legal responsibility to engage a gender equality and diversity approach in all business aspects. Yodiwo, advertises all open positions on its website. The job advertisement and job specification specify clearly the knowledge, experience and skills required by the applicant. Specifications that will discourage certain groups from applying are not acceptable.

Employment terms – Remuneration

Yodiwo, applies a job classification scheme which uses specific criteria to identify job positions and roles among the departments. Remuneration package is determined by the job position within the classification scheme. Directors, officers, and any other person in the company with direct reports are required to follow standard procedures, such as the performance appraisal process, when providing feedback on employee performance. Any informal comments or evaluations outside of these processes can undermine the formal review system and may lead to misunderstandings or unfair treatment. Regardless of the age, the gender, the status or any other characteristic of an employee, managers must communicate with respect and professionalism. Using disrespectful or diminutive terms (e.g., “little girl/boy”) is strictly prohibited. Such language is not only unprofessional but also creates a hostile work environment, which goes against our core values of respect and inclusion. All feedback and communication should be constructive, respectful, and focused on professional development.

Reporting Violations

Discrimination, harassment and bullying will not be tolerated in the workplace environment. Any individual affected by an incident of violence or harassment during access to the workplace, during the employment relationship, or even if the contract or employment relationship within which the incident or behavior is alleged to have occurred has ended, has the following options:

Non-Retaliation Policy

The company prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports a violation in good faith.
Employees who retaliate against others for reporting will face disciplinary action

Disciplinary Actions

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of
employment. The company will investigate all reported violations and take appropriate
action based on the findings.

The company will provide training and resources to ensure employees understand and
comply with this policy. Regular training sessions will be conducted to reinforce the

Policy Review and Updates

9.Accountability and Responsibility

Leadership Accountability: Senior management and the board of directors are responsible for setting the tone at the top and ensuring that the principles outlined in this policy are upheld throughout the organization. They are accountable for promoting ethical conduct, gender diversity, and inclusion in all decision-making processes.

Management Responsibility: All managers and supervisors are responsible for implementing this policy within their teams. They must lead by example, enforce the policy’s standards, and address any violations promptly. Managers are also responsible for fostering a respectful and inclusive work environment, ensuring that their teams understand and adhere to the policy. Employee Responsibility: Every employee, contractor, and representative of the company is responsible for understanding and complying with the Business Ethics Policy. Employees are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, respect, and fairness in all business dealings and interactions. They must report any unethical behavior or violations of the policy.

Human Resources Responsibility: The HR department is responsible for providing training on the Business Ethics Policy, supporting employees in understanding their ethical obligations, and ensuring that the policy is applied consistently across the organization. HR is also responsible for handling reports of policy violations and ensuring that appropriate disciplinary actions are taken.This shared accountability and responsibility ensure that the Business Ethics Policy is not only a document but a living practice that guides the company’s culture and operations

10. Acknowledgment

All employees are required to acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of this policy upon joining the company and as part of the regular review process.
