Just Released… Space occupancy and air quality module for yodiFEM

May 6, 2020

We announce an updated release of YodiFEM, our Facility and Energy Management platform, that supports space occupancy and air quality analytics for buildings that consists of multiple zones. With the outbreak of COVID-19, the new module identifies conditions that smooth the path for virus spread and increase the risk of contamination in workplaces. The underlying infrastructure consists of 3D cameras and air quality sensors that connect with the cloud over a cellular network or the local area network.

The platform allows an administrator to upload the floorplans and pin on them the 3D cameras and sensors. The administrator can also ‘link areas’ e.g. an area which occupants reach only through a precedent one. In this way, reliable analytics are produced with less cost for infrastructure since the number of 3D cameras can be reduced.

The air quality sensors generate the raw data that are processed by the platform to determine the air quality index (AQI), notify the facility managers for health risky conditions, recommend actions such as the need for ventilation, heating or cooling.

Alerts can reach an unlimited number of users registered by the administrator.
